While sketching my infamous antique chair from the comfort of my sofa I suddenly felt like breaking free and doing something spontaneous, so I did!
We all dashed around and within just a few minutes we were in the truck heading for Cineworld in Huntingdon where we caught the latest Jim Carey movie ('Yes Man') and grabbed a KFC meal.
Great uplifting film, full of laughs!
I finished my chair sketch back at home and managed to incorporate my ticket stub into the spread.

sounds like a fun time...I am anxiously awaiting going to the cinema in our town of Owosso, MI...at least 4 movies playing that I would love to see. Winter is a great time to be spontaneous/or lazy whichever you happen to be in the mood for. I have been cross stitching today and just enjoying the nonchalance of it all. Sue
could you tell me how you created the circle texture in the work? Textures are so important in my work, and the abstract qualities of your piece along with the colors are very inviting.
