...and today he took me shopping in his little car WITHOUT his 'L' plates attached.

Well done Jake!

Cool, but where's the sketch? I expect to see your son at the wheel, not a page of writing!

Already sent congrats in an email but willingly repeat it here Jake. Anita I trust it means you wont be doing anywhere near as much running around and up and down the drove. Great - more artwork to post and do look forward to seeing Jake's transport in one of your sketchbooks.

Isn't it scary for you to have him driving already? They grow up so fast! I like the look of the new blog. I was away on vacation for a few weeks and missed a lot of what you had posted. It's nice to catch up.

Hi Anita - a wonderful moment, a passage of rites. Did you do the foot pedal thing on the passenger side through a gritted smile? Oh yes, that was reaaly good ( personally I would have considered braking three minutes ago ...) I hope your son has a car or you won't see yours again - oh and don't fall for the petrol trick - 'course you can borrow mine ..' happy memories - you really made me smile :-)

Congratulations to Jake! I remember all too well the day each of my four older kids passed their driving tests. How proud I was.....though the mother in me said silent prayers for their safety on the road. :)
