K9

This is a character sketch I made on Monday evening while 'vegging' out on the sofa.
It was a warm up preparation for a commission I am currently working on with acrylic on canvas. I sketched it from a photo print out in approx. 15 minutes, directly in ink and was rather pleased with how it turned out...Let's hope the commission goes as well.
I wanted to post my progress shots of the commission for you but my camera is currently with a friend who borrowed it to photograph an exhibition for me. Hopefully I'll have it back in time to take a few work in progress shots before completing.

Remember this guy? I posted about my success with him back in August.

Well, today I received notification that a customer has placed another bulk order for him over at Greeting Card Universe, that's three bulk orders to date!

What a guy!

Oh my gosh! You did this in 15 minutes?! And, it is so wonderful. I see how you are able to be so prolific. Such a proud dog, this one! You are so good at capturing an animals' personality--the Mastiff with one eyebrow raised cracks me up! You so gifted and put in the hard work required to perfect your gift. You amaze me every single day.
