Ain't No Sunshine...

This is a quick sketch I made while waiting for Harry to come out of school, it was on his first day back and I arrived far too early.
I had prepared the spread with some decorative papers in advance and the flower in the garden next to where I'd parked seemed like the perfect subject for the pages.

I remember spotting the stuck in floral papers in your sketchbook and loved the colours. Clever you to find a growing plant to fit in so well. It looks stunning. Inspirational. May use the idea for one of my workshops - if you dont mind???

Thank you Margaret!

LOL...Thanks Dianne. I wish I could believe that but I still miss my eldest, Jake, when he's at college and he's 17!!!

Thanks Sandi!

Thanks Kazum!

Joan I couldn't believe my luck, I didn't skip pages or anything, this is the page I was at in my journal and the flower stood in the front garden of the house I had parked next to...Fate?
Of course I don't mind you using the idea, it's fun I'm sure they'll enjoy it.

That is a great idea...preparing the paper with collages and then choosing a subject later. Hope you don't mind if I try that?
