Nibbles and Notes - Day 9

Did you know that studies in Greece have shown a high consumption of onions, garlic and other allium herbs to be protective against stomach cancer. Apparently, the stronger the onion, the better it is for you!

Oh I want one of those cream horns. Looks delicious. What's in them besides the cream. Yummy. I've never seen one before. When it says all day breakfast does that mean it takes that long to eat it, or it is supposed to last all day? lol

Your blog is hard to read now that you show all this food. Makes me get hungry. I can almost smell the onions.

Your food sketches could easily adorn any menu!!!! Lovely!! I'll take one of those creamy horns.

Thanx Margaret!

LOL @ Jeanne!!! It means the breakfast is on sale throughout the day rather than just in the morning. The cream horn has raspberry jam and cream inside and a glacier cherry on the top.

Thank you Joan & Sandy!

Sorry for making you all so hungry. LOL!

I am enjoying all those English breakfast sketches! They aren't available here, that's for sure! If our restaurants served tomatos and beans as side dishes with eggs and bacon, or sausage, folks would wonder what was wrong with the cook! I do have one question...where can I get your metabolism so I can eat a breakfast like that? Apparently you are a very small racehorse!!! Love your work, as always!
