Nibbles and Notes - Day 26

Did you know that the Kiwifruit originated in China and used to be named the Chinese Gooseberry?
It was made popular by New Zealand growers in the early part of this century and renamed after their country emblem, the flightless Kiwi bird.

No I did NOT know that, but I will certainly keep it in mind for our geography studies this year :)

Your food series has been so informative. I learned something almost every day. Your layout is always a surprise. I am not very often leaving a comment, but visiting your blog every day. Thanks for taking away the music thingy. I had problems with the computer at work, but should I be visiting your blog during work? Yes, to get inspiriration for boring parts of my job.
