Close To Home - Doddington
'Bell View', Doddington © Anita Davies
Another addition to my 'Close to Home' project is this immaculate, new home in Doddington called Bell View. The weather was kind to me on this one and I managed to escape the truck and sketch it from the roadside in the comfort of my travel chair, sun blazing!
A friendly gentleman neighbour kept me company for a while too and informed the home owner of my presence later that evening, who has since been in touch by email rather excited to see my painting of her home.
Hope you like it Alison, sorry it's taken so long to upload here!

Wonderfully done Anita, I too hope Allison likes it... she has a very charming house.
You've done such a great job, I'm sure the ownere, Allison?, is going to ask for it! Lovely Anita.

The owner of the house should be delighted. This is a wonderful drawing. This project is turning out really nice.
Thank you all for your kind comments!
I got a very pleased email from Alison this morning asking for purchase details.
The minute I saw these wonderful warm colours I knew it was a winner - its definitely my favourite to date. Well done on sale interest from owner - how could she but be absolutely delighted. Fantastic project.
So lovely and charming... makes me wish I lived there!
Ha Anita! Thank you for letting me know that my drawing bug has been taking up residence at your house. I've dedicated today's post to this visit.
More importantly, thank you for inspiring me to open back up my sketchbook. It's been a hard couple of days without it.
