Placemats

Inspired by the pretty placemat that featured in yesterday's post, I decided to draw around one in my journal to mark out spaces which I then filled with self portraits throughout my day.

Something rather exciting is happening today and it's possible I will be back later to reveal all.
Ooooh, the suspense!

What a great page, Anita. It's been so interesting to see your self portrait project evolve. You must be able to sketch yourself with your eyes closed by now ;)

You did such wonderful sketching with your friend Anita! The fireplce, her face when she was resting a while, coltishall retreat(it looks lovely!), you last cup...It looks like it was fun, as well as productive. And this "placemat project' is very interesting...it is almost like slide show, throwing images on top of each other. Very imagniative!

Anita, thanks you so much for sharing such fascinating work. Very creative stuff...Your self portraits always reveal a little more about your facial expressions. The drawings are much softer than your earlier ones.

I could spend all day looking at your work. I don't have a favorite, but this one caught my eye. Awesome job!
