Another HB self portrait in my journal, this time with a new angle.
Another new pair of shoes...I know, I know, I shouldn't ...but I did!
I also spent this afternoon building a new blog for a project I have had on my mind:
I hope you will take a look and maybe even participate.

Those shoes were TOO CUTE to pass up! Love them!! Buying shoes is a "girl thing," LOL!!
I don't like buying shoes, but really like the shoes you've painted/sketched in your journal :) I went over and welcomed Joan and then realized I'd never commented on your blog although I've been a fan for a while now.
Nice Shoes! AND your portraits progressing nicely..... getting more and more realistic. I'm off to check out you're new blog project next.
Great heels and i'd love to join you postcard pen pal group!
Hi, I would like in on the pen pal project too. There are two (one full and one still open) postcard projects in Wetcanvas. About 24 postcards to send.
hello! having trouble commenting here... However, I again LOVE the shoes! I am so jealous! You asked me about my sketches - yes, they are in a Moleskine book. I draw with a pen - Micron or other and fill in with watercolor. I use a small travel size W&N set. Also Gesso for highlights since the paper is not white to begin with. I'd love to do the postcards!
*sigh*.....I LOVE the shoes! I have come lovely shoes too...in shoe boxes in my closet..I never go anywhere where I could wear them...but I have them anyway...*L* This self-portrait is really nice.....I'd like to do postcards too.....deni...;)
You beautiful shoes do make a wonderful series, Anita. Do you keep your shoes in their original boxes with a little photo on the outside! It's a shoe addict thing - I should know!
Your postcard project sounds fun. Just be careful you don't suddenly find yourself with hundreds of postcards to paint. ;)
Anita, You shoes are just gorgeous!! I love looking at them, but must admit although I do go for style, I haven't had a pair of heels on for quite some time. You make it easy to look at them and enjoy them without my feet hurting!
and worth every penny! This painting is lovely and that colour green, wow!
