I've had a lovely day home with Harry watching old films such as Mrs. Doubtfire and DragonHeart.
When everyone went to bed I curled up on the sofa with this week's TV magazine and broke out my gouache for the first time in what seems like ages to produce a quick sketch of Kate Thornton.

I love these! I would like to see you do more of them. Very nice.
I've thoroughly enjoyed catching up with your blog today, Anita. You do such lovely work ~ :)
I love the way you make drawings from all kinds of sources - it's so inspiring. You've now got me finding images in magazines that I want to use too! You've done a fantastic job in both these pictures. The expression in Mrs Doubtfire's eyes is brilliant and your use of gouache is excellent too.
These are absolutely gorgeous! Not that I know who Kate Thornton is, but I´m glad you brought out the gouache colours and made this beautiful portrait, I love it!
