Head Studies from Imagination - InkBusy nipping around town this morning, including another visit to
Tesco Cafe. Managed an hour in the studio this afternoon.
To ensure I sketched something in my Seawhite sketchbook I started a page of head studies from imagination that I added to at intervals throughout the day.
On 7 November I joined a new Yahoo group called
'Classical Figure Drawing'. Their first project is FEET, so I made a quick sketch of mine rested up on my studio table.

The new group sounds great, Anita, and you're off to a good start already.....nice work!
Btw, thanks so much for choosing one of my posts in your 'Star Post' listing for this week. I feel very honoured ~
Hi Anita,
I'm very inspired by your drawings and as a result have just joined the Classical Life Drawing group. Thanks so much - you're so prolific!
Anita - I love the head studies. (My art teacher recently informed us that it's possible to buy casts of human skulls at a place called Skullduggery.com, which made me think "Hmmm ... weird or cool?")
Thanks so much for including me in your Star Posts, too! That's a nice idea for highlighting others' work.
The head studies are great! I admire that you could do them so well just from your imagination.
What a cool study of the heads - the composition and coloring work perfectly, and the toes are Real Toes - nice work, mine are covered in slippers as it is so cold now - And A Big thank you for my "star post" position -I am so honored, Thank you for 1)looking and 2)commenting and 3)noticing - it encourages me to stretch more than you could know.
These are such great studies!
Love the head studies. The comp on that one is great, especially sine you added to it throughout the day. And, of course, your toes are marvelous! Great work!
