On The Side
Self Portrait - Ink & Watercolour - Approx. 20 mins
Tried a new angle using a small bathroom mirror balanced on the arm of my sofa last night before finally getting into bed.
I wanted to get into a better angle to study the dimensions of my nose.
I think the rather scary outcome captures the stiffness associated with such a position rather well.
The humiliation I go through in the name of art!

Beautifully done, Anita! I love the eyes, especially!
Your portraits are really evolving! I like this one, too especially for the almost monotone colours you used. My favourite is still the last one you did! That really was unique.
a quick hello and to see your new sketches. I've missed keeping up with everyone but am having a glorious adventure.
This is a really nice drawing. The ear is beautiful. The whole thing is very striking. Nice job.
I love the colours in this one and beautifully rendered as always ~ :)
Beautiful! You are too hard on yourself.
