Fruitful Thursday

Ink & watercolour in small watercolour moleskin

Thursday presented a heap of laundry to get through and a mass of rain clouds...Not a good mix!
I decided to expect nothing from the day and just hang around between washes with my sketchbooks and a movie.

Isn't it funny how the days when we expect nothing surprise us by being some of our most fruitful?
I also managed to sketch a sunflower, finish my cherry tomato ACEO and my watercolour self portrait, which I have yet to upload.

Who said laundry was boring?

Wow, it was a fruitful day. Lovely sketches, the chair is great. Also the Kitagawa Utamaro. He has such a beautiful sense of design. Now what about the ironing? Can you sketch and iron at the same time?;)
