30 Day Eye Study

You may remember I produced some hand studies, last month, for the Wet Canvas Hand-A-Day challenge, well, this month Lacey Bryant is running a 30 day Eye challenge. The idea is to sketch at least one eye, from life, everyday for 30 days...Practice makes perfect right?
I'm sure I won't be able to contribute everyday and I found the challenge a little late but yesterday saw me with a few moments spare so I grabbed a mirror and set about making a quick lead sketch with an HB pencil and 2 quick sketches with a 0.1 pigment liner in my W&N heavyweight sketchbook.

Anita, I enjoyed your hand series and I'm looking forwar dot this one too. already you have great sketches here, love the first one! I also enjoyed catching up on your previous sketches, Ghandi is amazing! And the , because you said I could, I did help myself to a piece of your chocolate slice...I didn't want to ruin your sketch though, so I just dragged my finer through the icing, my favorite part of chocolate cake; if you look cloesely, you'll see the evidence at the corner of the slice, where you'll miss some icing...thank you, delicious it was and special, like your birthday wishes!

I have enjoyed both your hand studies and now your new eye studies and was wondering where on wetcanvas you find these challenges? I would love to be apart of something like that and although I have been on wetcanvas several times I never seem to be able to find all of these challenges and swaps that I always here people talking about? Anyway, if you would be willing to steer me in the right direction I would be very appreciative.

Wonderful! Eyes have so much expression in them and these aren't lacking.
