This is my second session on this 8x20 inch canvas. It has been nice to just get lost in these petals and not have the pressure of a deadline, crowd or threatening raincloud!
I find working all over the canvas helps unify the piece as a whole and allows me to see my values easier, comparing one area to another as I work.
It also makes good use of the time my first coat, on the darkest values, needs to dry so I can pop back in with a second coat while still working the same bloom enabling me to keep the 'flow'.
