The Sound of Friendship

As the sun shone through the glass panes of the conservatory, we sat, watching her, captivated by her energy, enchanted by her kind eyes.

During my trip to see my good friend Joan Sandford-Cook yesterday, she gifted me one of her sweet little wind chimes. The gift is intended to hang in my newly built porch but last night I took it over to the studio, until we've decorated, and I liked the thought of having my artist friend around me while I worked. Joan and I have spent many sketch days together and soon she will be packing off to the Norfolk Broads, our days together will be more limited...It may stay where it is, with me, playing the sound of friendship into my studio!
