Found at a bargain price on the day I would have landed in Rome with Joannie to start our nine day tour.

The pot was sketched early morning during a quick ciggarette break on Dads garden bench before heading off to Cambridge for his final radiotherapy session, where I basically doodled in the few moments I had waiting for him.

Joan and I spent a couple of hours in the allotments at the bottom of her road with our sketchbooks and folding chairs. Such an interesting place full of character.
This is my final spread from my trip to Joannies. A fantastic scarecrow who looked absolutely knackered from his day stood in the sun and one of two stained glass windows some one had used to create a small greenhouse building off of one of the many sheds scattered throughout the allotment.
I had a wonderful time, as always, thank you Joan!

Sunday morning cuppa and the chance to sketch Joannies wonderful water feature before heading out.

My 6th and final sketch of my Saturday at Blickling with Joannie was sketched from the main gates which provided a great view of the hall in all it's beauty.

Another spread from my day at Blickling Hall with Joannie

After lunch Joan and I viewed the house with it's beautiful rooms and amazing ceilings, then we strolled through the gardens up to the temple where a wedding was taking place.

A quick spread at the pub adjacent to Blickling Hall before tucking into my lasagne lunch. Very good food here!

My first visit to this wonderful place in Norfolk. Joan and I grabbed a short time in the gardens sketching before heading off across the road for our lunch reservation.

Our Saturday morning started with an essential cuppa or two in the garden before heading off to Blickling Hall for the day with our sketchbooks.

A corner of my dear friend Joannies pretty little garden, sketched on my arrival.

All packed and ready for my weekend break in Coltishall with my good friend Joannie

I've been wanting to sketch this particular house for over two years now, it sits on the roadside that runs along the top of our drove and I pass it every day. Finally managed a quick rendition earlier this month with the rape field in full bloom.

I was a bit concerned when we brought her home as my Dad once had a goose and it was terrifying! Daisy is wonderful though, she follows me everywhere, eats from my hand and lets me stroke her while she plays with my sequined shoes. LOL!

My youngest Son, Harry, doing a spot of fishing at a neighbouring farm.

My dear friend Rose-Ann celebrated her birthday with a garden party, complete with cakes and cream teas! We had a wonderful afternoon drenched with sunshine.
