Sail on Sunday

Wind beating heads of summer blooms hung exhausted from the fight
Clouds gathering around the sun masking out her light
Tattered decks, beach like pools, darkness, tired limbs
Rested sails and comfort clothes describe the shelter Sunday brings.
~Anita Davies

We've had so much rain recently and today was no exception, dreary light, rain clouds, puddles and wind...The sort of day you wish you didn't have to go out in. Thankfully, Sunday allowed me to snuggle through in the comfort of my robe and watch the day sail by.

Ah! So you are a poet also! You are very good at both the artwork AND the poetry! I love the look of ink and colored pencils. You make it look so simple. Nice!

Beautiful romantic drawing Anita - you make me want to sail away myself.
